Snow Bubble's Brief History

Snow Bubble was created on April 17th of 2005 because my friends kept nagging me to get a blog on LiveJournal, Xanga, Myspace, etc. but since I was way too stubborn to use any of those free blogging sites, I decided to create my own blog from scratch (to show my own creativity, practice my HTML skills, and practice with my graphic designing). It started out simple, like how any other blogs when they first open it (unless you're already pro with HTML, graphic designing and such lols.), and it later progressively started to grow. Snow Bubble was free hosted at the horrible okay... Yahoo! Geocities website, then later was kindly hosted by Asuka at Sinful-Existence.net, but soon after her domain went down. Later, Ashley offered to host Snow Bubble. So, Snow Bubble moved over to Wandering-Mind.net, but as of now and currently at another domain, Psycho-Garden.org since Ashley needed to split up some of her hostees. I must say, I REALLY appreciate my previous AND current host for hosting my random bloggie, you guys are awesome *UBER GLOMPS* Thank you so much! ♥

How did you come up with the name "Snow Bubble"?
Simply off a boba drink (which is a smoothie drink *the flavors vary* with tapioca perals in it). It's nothing special, I just liked the name of it and adapted it to my blog. Lols, yes random I know.

Past Layouts

Let's take a step back time shall we? Lols, well these are the old previous layouts that I managed to find still lying in my folders and/or were saved on my previous freewebs hosting account that I was able to save. I should have saved my previous layouts that I made way back when I first opened my blog, but it's a little too late now ^^;; heh... Well, looking back at some of my past layouts that I made, I'm actually still quiet content and proud of some of my previous works. It shows how much I've improved over time, yipee! Har har.

Layout Ver. 1-5 I totally lost them and they're long gone ^^;; BUT! I still remember what layouts I have previously made (after relooking at my previous blog entries haha), but I can't give them an actual commenting because I sorta forgot how the layout looked, what I named the layout, how I previously set it up, etc.

Comments. When I first made this layout it was pretty average and simple, I didn't like it a lot or hated it so yuh, it was nothing too fancy or decorative. I mostly and mainly used blending techniques and lighting effects. Overall, it was an average layout. I think I mainly liked this layout for the images I used, since I loved the images of HyungJoon aka Baby. ♥

Comments. I liked my Axel layout, it looked and was styled sort of the same as my layout of Baby however my HTML codings for the layout was different from it and I liked how it matched and went well with my layout. Hmm... yea, this layout is simple too, but I like the simple look rather then the cluttered, squished, madness layerings/blendings. Hee, it keeps things clean and organized!

Comments. OH WHOOA! A perfect rating for this layout, haha almost seems impossible but O-o turns out even I like my own work sometimes! It's an all out dark/black layout because it fits the theme for any jrockers (besides cute ones like An Cafe hee, they're a special case ♥). I used a brush mask to layer over the image to give it a cut out look template? Heh ^^;; I don't really know how to describe it. Well, I liked this layout that I even made a simple wallpaper out of it for myself haha. Miyawaki is loved. ♥

Comments. I didn't have this layout up for too long, it's not that I hated it or anything, but I got a layout that was made from the layout shuffle that I had joined from Tati's blog so I posted the new layout soon after. Overall, this layout was pretty interesting, sort of different from the previous layouts I made, it looks like cute cutouts plastered on a piece of paper! I especially love the image of Risa and Otani with the stringed cup phones X3 it's really cute.

Comments. Almost a perfect score, but there was a little something that bothered me but didn't know how to fix, so I just left it. I really did like my Kadaj and Sephiroth layout, it's one of those few layouts/graphics that I made and would really like, probably because Sephy is my fave bishie so it boosted my liking lols. This layout was up for almost 3 whole months, quite long since I change layout almost once every month. Overall, the way I made the layout and coded it and everything I was quite satisfied with it!

Comments. I was VERY pleased with this layout, I liked the color scheme I chose, how I made the layout, and well... I pretty much liked how I set up everything up for this layout! The only flaw was that I wasn't able to get the coding to work on other internet engines besides Internet Explorer, so... I still need a lot of practice with HTML and everything! Overall, I really did like this layout, heck it was up for a long time too! LOLS. And of course, because Golf&Mike were on my layout, the MORE reason to love it.

Comments. This layout was nice, simple, colors were calm and neutral not and wasn't overwhelming... SO! I did like this layout and it was up for about a month and a half. Of course since I'm picky, I felt that the flaw was the layout setup itself, it was almost exactly the same as my layout version 10 featuring Sephiroth and Kadaj. Yea... I was at a layout stump so it ended up looking like my previous layout. The image of Amou-kun was colored by me on photoshop (lols, seriously the wonders of photoshop XD).

Comments. I was going for a rather simplistic look, I didn't want to overwhelm the beautiful image of Aaron by spazzing it with textures, brushes, etc. I gave it a 8.5-9/10 because I'm weird haha no that's not the reason, I sorta like it a lot and I sorta don't, I like it because I LOVE THE IMAGES and I don't like it because it almost look the same as my previous layouts, I haven't been too creative with new designs, I need to get back to learning HTML codings and all that crap in order to do something different XD;!

Comments. AH! A 7.5 rating?! Yes, it was an okay layout, it's not one of my best or most liked layout even though it features NEWS one of my superb favorite jpop groups. This layout was just specially made for Chrismas '07 so of course I didn't really plan on to keep it up that long. Even though it had pink and white which is good colors for Valentine, I didn't want this layout to be up since I wrote 'Merry Christmas' on it XD; but it was rather decent for my first seasonal/special occasion layout considering I just make just about whatever, har.
